Long Island Sound Study and Connecticut Sea Grant

Judy has worked in the for-profit sector as a geologist, and for over 25 years in the non-profit conservation sector for the Nature Conservancy, and as founder and Director of Tidewater Institute, a community-based conservation organization in the Connecticut River estuary. She taught environmental science and landscape ecology as an adjunct faculty member at Three Rivers Community College for eight years.

Judy is passionate about the natural world, gardening, and gunk- holing in the Connecticut River estuary.
