It started in Portland and then New Orleans...then Paris...and so much of his success came from what he learned...busking!

Joe Flood is a fascinating member of the CT culture scene. He grew up in Portland with many siblings and found love the first time he played the guitar. He is a well-traveled musician with great stories and a love of history, blues, and telling stories through song. Many people do not know it, but Joe actually busked in Paris, wrote a song for Levon Helm, and is even working a children’s project.
