In honor of Earth Day week, we talk today about the books and online resources that have inspired a greater understanding of ecology in general, and gardening specifically.
Guest Jim Sirch is the Education Coordinator at the Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History in New Haven. He’s known to many for his professional development activities at the Museum, and has received awards for his science service and advocacy. Jim was also instrumental in bringing the citizen science FrogWatch program to Connecticut, and has recently started a new nature blog at the museum, https://beyondyourbackdoor.net.
