Mari brings her love of food and community together in her most recent projects in and around the CRV...and on our air as co-host of Kitchen Outlaws. Be sure to check out her place...Clinton's Pica Chica Tacos.

Mari has been a member of the Clinton community for 16 years. After a 9 year career with the Air Force, the Texas native settled in the area. Quickly making this her home, working as the manager of Christo Jewelers for 12 years. During that time she served on the board of directors for the Clinton Chamber of Commerce, spearheading many business development projects and community events, most notably the inaugural Clinton Summerfest and Fireworks. Additionally, Mari has served as passionate volunteer for several civic organizations. Currently, she is a member of the board and fundraising team for Families Helping Families. Mari previously served on the board for Clinton Child Care Services coordinating their annual summer program fundraiser. She is also a very involved member of The First Church Congregational of Clinton, serving on the Christian Education Board.
Her passion for food led her to her current position as Food consultant for Cuckoo’s Nest in Old Saybrook where she shares her food knowledge and creativity with this well established Mexican/Cajun restaurant.

During her free time Mari enjoys creating new and exciting cuisine for her husband of almost 30 years, John Lee, and 11 year old daughter Izzy. As well as, scattering kindness in the Clinton community.

Kitchen Outlaws

Stacy and Mari love to cook, but they can barely keep up with the family and work responsibilities, so they have to get creative and "steal" time to get into the kitchen and share their love and expertise.  That is why they are called...the "Kitchen Outlaws" as they have to break some rules just to be able to hang in the litchen and share recipes and tips with you....be part of the fun...on iCRV Radio!
