"We only know Good People Doing Great Things..." The Community Foundation idea is simple one: anyone can be a philanthropist - local people, giving locally to make an impact on the lives of others – not just for today, but forever.

Cynthia Clegg will tell you that one of the most important things the Community Foundation does is Connect The Dots. Working with donors, businesses, and nonprofit organizations, Cynthia helps identify the issues affecting our community and brings people together to make an impact today all the while ensuring we have the resources to positively impact our community for generations to come.

The Community Foundation idea is simple one: anyone can be a philanthropist; anyone may use it to give something back to the community. The Community Foundation of Middlesex County represents local people, giving locally to make an impact on the lives of others – not just for today, but forever.

The Community Foundation of Middlesex County is unique. It did not begin with one or two large bequests, but as a grass roots effort with multiple donations from countless caring donors. That vision and dedication paid off as the Community Foundation’s pooled assets continue to grow each year thanks to the generosity of our friends and neighbors.

Since 1997, more than 190 funds have been established by generous individuals, companies, institutions, organizations, and businesses in order to invest in nonprofit organizations to improve the arts; cultural and heritage programs; educational activities; environmental conditions; health and human services, and so much more.

Powered by the Community Foundation of Middlesex County we get a deep look at all the great work done by area non-profits. Covering every part of the need spectrum, this program showcases the various funds at the Community Foundation, underscores the power of volunteerism and partnership, and helps us understand how neighbor can help neighbor in the CRV.
