Phil Miller is a professional naturalist and teacher, working at the Incarnation Center, home of the nation’s oldest running summer camps, Pequot and Sherwood, and also home of Bushy Hill Nature Center, which Phil previously directed for nearly twenty years.
Phil grew up exploring, and learning about the natural world, and later worked for Massachusetts Audubon Society and National Audubon, the YMCA, and he taught at and directed Nature’s Classroom Environmental Education. Phil spent four terms as elected First Selectman of Essex, Connecticut, and later served three terms in the Connecticut General Assembly as a state representative.
